Life is for livingDo something today that will stay with you beyond today
Young people going around in circles, making the same mistakes? Want to help them make a change, but can’t seem to find a way?
We can help build the mental muscle and discover the things that are preventing them from being the best version of themselves. We will help them to be better prepared for the unexpected difficulties, and much more likely to fully recognise opportunities as they arise.
Some ideas to get started
Be brave
Staying within our comfort zone means we know what to expect. We feel safe and secure. Life is predictable. Being brave, stretching ourselves beyond our comfort zone means we grow. The more regularly we step outside of our usual routines and push our boundaries, the more we get used to disruption and the easier it becomes to respond when things happen unexpectedly.
Just 'be'
‘Being’ is simply allowing things to be as they are, not judging, fully in the moment, relaxed, calm and present. It’s about acceptance and comfort. It’s not trying to fix or solve anything. It’s not trying to reach a goal and it’s not about being right or wrong. Sometimes the pressure to be active, to be doing stuff means we don’t truly value ‘being’. We think it’s a waste of time, that it’s being lazy or boring. Yet giving ourselves permission to just ‘be’ gives us a sense of control.
Notice the good stuff
Paying attention to the positive things around us and what we can be grateful for helps us avoid the negativity bias. Overtime we develop our muscle for noticing the good in the world. People who build the muscle, experience more positive emotion, have better physical health, they live longer, are better at problem solving, have healthier relationships and are more resilient to setbacks.

Our Approach
We believe that every single person has strengths and qualities they have not yet had the chance to explore. Unlocking potential has to start from within, but it isn’t about counselling or therapy. We use teachings from positive psychology to unlock the best of each person we work with. Our approach does feel challenging, but in an empowering, strengths-based way that is practical useful, down to earth and works in the real world.
